matrilineal
sessions

DSC_0053-2.jpg

Matrilineal sessions are for mothers and daughters of two or more generations that share a mutual desire to heal the ancestral feminine wounds that have been passed down through their matriline, establish a deeper, healthier bond with one another, and initiate a new paradigm for future generations.

Sessions are 60-minutes long and are held virtually via a live video call.

Many adult daughters are currently facing the painful truth that they may need to end their relationship with their mother.

This is not a decision made on a whim, but rather one that is often sat with for a span of time - sometimes years.

For many of these adult daughters, walking away from their mother has nothing to do with a lack of love for her, and everything to do with the love they have learned to have for themselves.

How can cultivating self-love lead to cutting ties with your mother?

Because many of these mothers are stuck. They haven't done any healing work and don't seem ready, willing, or able to admit there is work that even needs done let alone doing the work of facing the pain that they, too, have silently carried their entire lives.

For a womxn that has done healing work or is at least able and willing, staying in relationship with a mother that is not able or willing, forces her to continue the cycle that created the wound in the first place.

The cycle of self-abandonment.

When faced with this situation, the adult daughter comes to a split in the road. Both paths are painful, but only one of them leads to liberation.

Here's the thing. I don't believe our mothers are actually unwilling to do this work, I believe they're just terrified.

You don't need to end your relationship, you just need the tools to be able to walk the path toward liberation together.

That's where I come in.
